About Me
My name is Arezu Corella (pronounced: R-Zoo Core-ay-ya), founder of WISH Leadership Collective. My name means wish in Persian, and it has always reflected something deeper for me: the hope for a better future, the desire to make a difference, and the belief that meaningful change starts with intention. That meaning inspired the name of my business, WISH Leadership Collective.
After 27 years in higher education, I retired from the University of Arizona as the Senior Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management in 2025. Throughout my career, I was driven by a passion for empowering others, building collaborative teams, and creating spaces where people could lead with confidence and compassion.
I launched student-centered initiatives like a peer mentoring program for first-year psychology students designed to support belonging, confidence, and academic success and a graduate preparation course helping students create their admissions packet for graduate programs.
I also co-founded and expanded the Arizona Women in Higher Education (HED) Mentorship Program and co-led the development of a Leadership Institute for early- and mid-career women in HED, initiatives designed to cultivate connection, confidence, and community in leadership.
WISH Leadership Collective is the next chapter in that work: helping leaders and teams cultivate trust, lead with clarity, and create people-first cultures. If you’re ready to turn your leadership from a wish into a purposeful practice, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
